Where does my donation go?
Every donation goes toward assembling and delivering care baskets for NICU families. Funds purchase comfort items for mothers, essential baby items, gift cards for meals, and the supplies needed to prepare each basket. Donations also help cover organizational and delivery costs so we can keep reaching more families each year. We are committed to using every contribution with intention, transparency, and care.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Helping Hands for NICU Moms Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 33-3552086). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Givebutter emails a receipt for online gifts, and we’re happy to provide documentation for business gifts. You can also look us up on ProPublica’s Nonprofit Explorer.
Do you accept in-kind donations?
Yes. We gladly accept new comfort items for mothers, essential baby items, and donated services such as printing, event support, or supplies that help us assemble and deliver baskets. Every in-kind contribution goes directly into the hands of NICU families.
Can my business sponsor baskets?
Yes — local businesses have been part of this from the very first year. We’re grateful to recognize business supporters on our social media and in our fundraiser materials. See ways to partner and we’ll share our nonprofit documentation.
Can I volunteer?
Absolutely. You can shop with us, help build the baskets, or help distribute them. Sign up to volunteer.
